Our Employability Skills Programme is designed to help individuals develop the confidence, knowledge and practical skills needed to secure employment and progress in their careers. Whether you are looking for your first job, returning to work or changing careers, our programme provides personalised support to help you achieve your employment goals.

Our experienced tutors work with learners to build confidence, improve communication skills and prepare for successful job applications and interviews.

Course Content

Learners will receive practical support in:

  • Creating a professional CV tailored to their career goals
  • Completing job applications and online application forms
  • Writing effective personal statements and cover letters
  • Preparing for interviews with mock interview practice
  • Building confidence and communication skills
  • Developing presentation and professional behaviour
  • Understanding employer expectations in the UK workplace
  • Job search techniques and using online recruitment platforms
  • Setting career goals and developing personal action plans
  • Improving workplace communication and teamwork skills

Duration: Flexible to meet individual learner needs.
Sessions can be delivered as one-to-one support or in small group workshops.

This is a non-accredited programme. Learners receive continuous feedback throughout the programme and complete practical activities designed to develop real-world employability skills.

To enrol, learners should:

  • Be aged 16 years or over
  • Be motivated to improve their employment prospects

On successful completion, learners can:
